Good news for Palm Pre owners and Palm OS app developers!

On Monday, MotionApps announced they simplified the Classic Certification procedure which should speed up the availability of Palm OS apps certified to run on the webOS-based Palm Pre.

Danijela Tomazovic, the marketing manager at MotionApps stated, “We wanted Classic users to get as many Classic Certified apps as possible and to get them as soon as developers test and sign them.”

The Classic Certified Logo serves as a seal of approval letting you know that you can use the Classic Certified application with confidence. Classic will still run apps that are not Certified, but Classic Certified apps will feature the logo now telling you that developer of a particular app tried it and can confirm it works well with Classic.
